Preventative Maintenance is a key factor in reducing your running costs & minimising breakdowns. 

Shelair recommends & offers a 3 monthly preventative maintenance agreement to service & maintain your investment.


                                                        A Typical Scheduled PM Agreement would include:-



Air conditioning Preventative Maintenance:

The quarterly maintenance will include:

Remove flush and refit condensate traps

Inspect bearings for all fans & motors

Inspect condensate trays

Record air supply & return air temperature

Check thermostat operation

Check pipe work condition

Remove & clean all air filters

Check electrical connections

Refrigerant leak check at unit & evaporator

Check for vibration

Check system refrigerant (gas levels)

Clean condenser fins and coil





Refrigeration Preventative Maintenance:

The quarterly maintenance will include

Clean condensor coil

Clean evaporator coil

Check gas level

Check Tx valve setting

Check for any vibration to unit or pipe work

Check all fan motor operation

Check compressor noise levels

Check door, explosion port & defrost heaters if applicable

Check drain operation & flush

Check electrics for any potential hazards

Check Temperatures

Report any existing or potential faults

Check for refrigerant leak with electronic tester
